DH Shutdown is software for initiating the system shut off process with options to logoff or hibernate or standby or restart at a specific time specified. Specific period can be set for a count down or a particular time. Idle option allows the system to idle during the period used for providing a stopgap arrangement. If countdown is selected, the system starts count down from the time entered. There are options available to set the count down in hours and minutes and seconds. Upon reaching 0 in all the set parameters, action selected will be initiated and executed. Selection of time option allows date and time to be set for the action to be performed. At the set time and date the action selected will be triggered. The system also provides a protection facility to stop any user from interfering the setting. Protection can be set for idle, count down or time options. Automatic option is available for repetition of the set action on a daily basis. It can be set for all the five conditions - logoff, restart, and standby, hibernate and shut down. The automatic option can be set to run in minimized or normal state. The setting of automatic activity can be in terms of hours and minutes.
