Echo: Secret of the Lost Cavern is a fantastic adventure game set in The Lascaux Caves in the prehistoric era. In this game you play a young hunter named Arok who gets stuck in these caves, while trying to escape a bear. The whole game involves picking up items that are placed in your inventory and must be later used to achieve certain goals, like starting a fire, cooking salmon, and many more. In the caves you will also find a great number of paintings that are puzzles. When solved, they will help you advance in the game. The game doesn't provide hints or any help whatsoever, so you will have to figure out everything by yourself. I strongly recommend you to read the documentary database, since it provides information about the prehistoric people, which can be of great help when trying to solve the puzzles. Some of the puzzles are really challenging and will keep you thinking for a while. It would be great if they included a reset button to start the puzzles from scratch, when you are really lost. The game is played in the first person perspective and also features incredible graphics with great cutscenes and voice acting, as well as great sound effects and music. All in all, Echo: Secret of the Lost Cavern is an enjoyable adventure game with great challenging puzzles and wonderful effects and graphics that will certainly satisfy even the most exquisite player.
