EverQuest II is one of the most popular on-line role playing games in the market. The game was labeled as addictive and thousands of players spend countless hours inside the game servers. There have been many expansions with new weapons, quests and continents for EQ II. However Everquest II: Rise of Kunark is the ultimate expansion pack. All the previous content of EQ II and its expansions are included, along with new features. The new continent in the game is called Kunark, the same as the continent in the original EverQuest. But 500 years have passed since then and the geography has changed due to several cataclysms. When players arrive to Kunark they will find a place of war, with the giants being pushed by the north and the Sarnak (the new playable race) to the west. They are both fighting the Iksar Empire. The new zones are larger than any previous ones, allowing more complex quests to appear. This pack is aimed to the experienced EQ II gamer, but it is also ideal for a complete beginner, though beginners may experience a bit of a learning curve at first. The game has the same formula as before and it is still a good bet for fans and non-fans alike. You can get a 14 day trial of the original game at the Sony Station site.
