FastResolver is a small, free utility able to resolve or guess multiple host names, translating them to their corresponding IP addresses. You can also do the reverse process and get a host name from an IP address. Both the control and interface of FastResolver are simple. Just type in the IP address (or host name) you want to resolve. Another way is to specify a range of IP addresses you want to search through, in place of limiting yourself to just one.In a LAN setting, FastResolver will also let you get the MAC address of all the IP addresses you indicate. There is also a multithread option, enabling you to resolve dozens of addresses in just a few seconds. The operation of resolving an IP address and getting a host name isn?t tested in Windows 98 nor in Windows ME.The download file is in English, but on the program?s webpage you can find separate files for other languages like Chinese, Russian, Gallego, Japanese, Polish, Italian, Slovak or German.
