LCARS Media Player is similar to Windows Media Player and has its own inimitable style and interface like Star Trek LCARS interface. You can change the skin of the program at will: Cardassian, Klingon or Romulans. Supporting for many audio and video formats: WAV, SND, AU, AIF, MIDI, MPEG, ASX, ASF, AVI, MID, MP3, Quicktime format, Real format, makes the program very attractive. LCARS Media Player has the same features as Windows Media Player. You can create playlists and perform the same operations with them. The tracks can be played in order or be shuffled. The program includes CD player that plays audio CD tracks from your CD and supports freedb.org. It means that you can find the track information you need: name, artist as well as track names per Internet. ID3 tag editor is also available. The window of the program can be resized as you wish. There are full screen and even mini mode. Thereby LCARS Media Player is a media player with a few basic functions which are characteristic for an elemental media player.
