If you don't have Microsoft Word installed on your PC, you can use Word Viewer to view any Word document of your interest found on the Internet. Compatibility You can open documents created using Microsoft Office Word 2003, 2002, or 2000. You can also read documents created with Office Word 2007, but, in this case, you need to download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats in addition to Word Viewer; this is because Microsoft Office 2007 uses new file formats: • Microsoft Office Word 2007 Document (*.docx) • Microsoft Office Word 2007 Macro-Enabled Document (*.docm) When using this software to view these file formats, you will see a Word 2003 version of the documents; all those features and layouts not contained in Word 2003 won't be seen.
