The Broken Clues is a hidden object game with an investigation theme. In this game you play a private investigator who is hired to solve the murder of a very rich man. Throughout the game, you will visit different places related to this man like his house, office, car, etc. Every place represents a static scene where you must look for a list of objects that are hidden. The objects in the scenes are pretty well hidden, and they are not so easy to find. If you can't find an object you can use the hints, but you only get three per level, so use them wisely. Also, the time given to complete a scene is very little, so you should hurry up. If you have to restart the level, the objects on the scene will appear in the same place, but the list will somewhat change. As you progress in the game, you are also told the stages of the investigation, together with the suspects, and clues that will ultimately lead you to discover the murderer. The game also includes a series of mini-games that help you cut the hidden object atmosphere. Unfortunately, the game only includes one mode, so if you don't play the mini-games, it is extremely short for advanced players. Graphics are nice, but not really detailed and sometimes I couldn't distinguish the objects in the scenes. The music is pleasant and sound effects are average. To sum up, The Broken Clues is just another hidden object game with a crime theme, but nothing out of the ordinary.
