The Lost Kingdom Prophecy is a nice mix of a hidden-object game with a match-3 game in which you must help Serena save her kingdom from the prophecy. As you are told the story, you will be asked to play different games. With every game you play, either hidden-object or match 3, you unlock a specific object. In all scenes, you will have a series of objects that you must find in order to get to the next levels. The objects to find are shown at the top of the screen and they are broken in different pieces. Your job is to find all the pieces, put them together, and then place the objects in their corresponding places. You'll know where to place an object when the cursor changes. The game also includes a series of match-3 games that are divided in four categories: Group Mechanic, Chain Mechanic, Swap mechanic, and Change mechanic. You can choose the one you like the most, as well as the geometry of the tiles (hexagon, rectangle or mixed). In Group mechanic, you must click groups of three or more adjacent tokens to destroy them. In chain mechanic, you must click on a token and then move the mouse to the next adjacent token in order to select three or more and make them disappear from the board. Then, in Swap mechanic you must click on a token and then click again on neighboring token to make them swap places. Finally, in Change mechanic you must change the token that you have on the mouse cursor with any other token on the play area in order to make lines of 3 or more identical tokens. In addition to this, the game offers two modes, timed and relaxed mode. Regarding the graphics, they are very colorful and detailed. Sound effects are cool and the music is nice, but repetitive. In short, The Lost Kingdom Prophecy is a very interesting game that will surely attract fans of both genres.
